Transmits images in high definition to identify diseases.

We were challenged to redesign optical equipment for dental, adult and pediatric use.

The client, in partnership with FINEP and the Ministry of Science and Technology, obtained a grant to finance the project and develop the dental camera and its peripherals. We traveled through Asia and Germany with the Design and Engineering team, doing complete benchmark study on the biggest players in the industry.

We dedicated ourselves so that the design was ergonomic and the smallest possible size, to reach the molar teeth, producing images of the entire dental arch. We have the partnership of one optical company from Nanyang (China), and another from Shenzhen, specialized in sensors for professional cameras.

We reached a result of commercial success, with more than 15 thousand units sold in Brazil: a camera with high constructive quality and manual optical zoom that is precisely regulated through a rotary knob. The product was created and approved in 2.5 years, counting on our creativity and supervision.

SKYCAM was awarded by IDEA 2013 and later by 30 PRÊMIO DESIGN MUSEU DA CASA BRASILEIRA (honorable mention).
