VCA (Victor Colhado Atelier) gained the biggest spotlight at iF DESIGN AWARD for this edition, iF's top prize, the iF gold award trophy – and is now one of the main winners of the world-renowned design label. Of almost 11,000 registered projects from 72 different countries, only 75 projects won the acclaimed iF gold trophy. Never before has this honor been as exclusive and valuable as this year!
Treevia Smart Forest won over the 132 members of the jury, made up of experts in their fields from all over the world, who stood out for their impact on helping to preserve and manage forests. The project won iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 Gold in the Product discipline, in the Industry/Tools category. The jury released the following statement about their decision to award the project the Gold award trophy:
“This was a jury favorite due to its user-friendly design and its role in collecting data to help combat climate change. The excellent ergonomics make it possible to easily attach the dendrometer to the plants and trees under study, while the backend system with its clear user interface makes the work of generating and reading data easier. We hope a gold award will give this product the boost it deserves.”
Since 1954, the oldest independent design organization in the world, iF International Forum Design GmbH, based in Hannover, Germany, has awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD to the best proposals.
